Nina Cabrera is specializing in empowering and improving the quality of life of the individual and the community.
Nina is a mental health advocate and life coach. Nina served honorably in the United States Air Force as a medic. She earned a Master of Science in Counseling from Canisius College. After graduating with her Masters, Nina was employed at the NYS Department of Labor. She provided intensive case management services to veterans with significant barriers to employment.
Nina continued to serve the veterans in her community when she was appointed the Director of her county Veterans Service agency. Nina obtained and maintained a certification as a veterans service officer. She served a population of over 17,000 veterans, dependents, and veteran caretakers. As Director, Nina collaborated with local, state, federal government and community organizations to bring resources and benefits to veterans, dependents, and caretakers. She participated as a panelist, public speaker and made appearances to educate and inform the community of veterans benefits. She performed outreach and community vendor services. Nina educated and instructed individuals and groups about services and resources during military events, corporate events and media opportunities. She has helped veterans, dependents and caregivers receive over hundreds of thousands of dollars, healthcare, education benefits, and many other military benefits. She improved the lives of veterans and their families for years to come.
She understands the need to support the individual and the community. Nina also knows there is a need to support those who choose to have a bible based life. She wants to foster an environment that allows growth and healing to take place.
